Google Chrome -- Posted by istech.ie on Sunday 7th September 2008

Google have just released a beta version of their new web browser which is called Chrome. We have performed some limited compatibility testing with a selection of our client’s websites and have found no problems at this juncture. We did notice, however, that browser has a habit of ‘freezing’ occasionally for around 15-20 seconds when viewing PDF documents. Unless you are an information technology professional we suggest waiting until Google release a production version of Chrome before downloading.
